Good Morning Saints!
It's already a nice day, here in Denver. Have you thought about what you would do with your life if your bills were paid...no worries about money...just free to do whatever you wanted to do, on a daily basis? I wonder how many of us would stay steeped in prayer and immersed in the Word? Would we stretch our potential--reaching out to bring others to the Kingdom? I don't know. But, I think we may become a little complacent in our "following" of the Lord. You see, in our struggle to live up to our potential everyday, we are pressed to overcome obstacles thrown in our paths. And, in turn, our backs become stronger, and the burdens not as bothersome. Our gathering of other followers becomes a mission, for we know, through our own burdens, that we have a Comforter. I'm curious to hear your opinions about freedom from all financial burdens. Do you think you would be as steadfast in your Kingdom-walk? Do you feel you would be as diligent in gathering others into the fold? Blessings!
Scripture for the Day
Prov 23:4-5 (NIV) Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.
