Good Morning, Saints!
My heart rejoices with the opportunity to write and be with you, again! Today, my heart beats in thanksgiving and praise for our Lord, Jesus Christ! You see, He stands by my side and sends His Holy Spirit to heal and comfort me. Oh, what a joy it is, to be able to tell you of His amazing grace and love. It's there for all of us. It's right there, in the midst of our troubles and delights, just waiting for us to take hold of our blessings and acknowledge His precious love. Nothing is more tangible than the blanket of His love and care. Nothing can replace it. Nothing feels as wonderful. Those of you, who "stay still" in His love, know exactly what I am talking about. My words cannot describe His love. But, it flows through me as powerful and graceful as a river. My mind cannot fully comprehend all that flows my way. But, my heart overflows with His love.
And, oh, the power of prayer! I fervently pray that the Lord rain His blessings upon His people, bringing His people closer to His Kingdom. And, I believe that the prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective, just as stated in the book of James. I do not doubt my prayers to the Lord, as I know that He knows the desires of my heart. Why am I so sure of my Father's reception? Because, I acknowledge my sinful nature. I know that I need the Holy Spirit's help to utter my prayers, for I cannot be righteous if I think I am clean and beyond reproach. And, you know what? In giving up my "self," the Lord can swoop down and pick me up, working miracles through my brokenness. So, yes, the prayer of a righteous man is powerful. Spread the Good News and open your lives to His direction. Blessings!
ScriptureJames 5: 13-16
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
