I Can't Remember... But, I Can Feel It

Good Morning Saints!
I hope that you had a wonderful, joyful and thoughtful New Year weekend. Let's begin the New Year by watching our thoughts, tongues and actions. It's never too late to change the way we think, what we say or how we behave. All of these things have a bearing on our character and how we make others feel, not to mention how we feel when we spread goodness instead of ugliness. You know, we often wish that people would forgive and forget our  ugly words and move on, but it's difficult for people who have been hurt by our unsavory words, to move on and forgive. As believers, forgiveness is written upon our hearts and I believe that we are able to forgive through being steeped in His Presence and Word. We will always need to forgive and be forgiven. So, let's begin this year and every single day from here, forward, by cleansing and watching our thoughts, tongues and actions, quick to correct ourselves whenever we slip....because, we will slip. Many times, people can't remember what we said, but they can definitely remember how we made them feel. When we enter the grocery store, home, workplace or anyplace, let's bring a "good and blessed" attitude with us. We need it and so do others! Many blessings!
Scripture of the Day
Ephesians 4:20-24 (New International Version, ©2010)

20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
