Storms Illuminate Your Path and Make Sweeter Your Joy

Good Morning Saints!
It is a beautiful day, here, in Denver: Hot as the blazes, but still beautiful! LOL! Today, my heart takes me to thankfulness. And, yes, I'm thankful for those sizzling hard times, more-so, after they have passed. As I have grown more close to the Lord, asking for discernment and listening more intently to His Voice, I find that I can see the rainbow in the middle of a chaotic storm. Isn't that amazing? It never ceases to amaze me "how beautiful the rainbow" during the eye of a storm. And, I have learned to keep my eyes, heart, mind and tongue focused on that rainbow, when I am being tossed and driven. Try it, saints. I'm a living witness that it works and the waves will cease to trouble you---Oh, they will be there, but they will not break you, for He is at your side. Yep! It's true!

Oh, and when your feet hit dry land, you will rejoice that much more, because you were being held by your Father's hand: The Hand of  Love, Comfort and Light! Walking through storms is one way that your faith grows and will continue to grow. Now, don't go looking for the storm, as it is sure to find you! I haven't always seen my storms from this viewpoint, but I rejoice that my sight is being improved, every day, through every storm. So, saints, embrace the Lord during your storm and walk-on through them. Look for that rainbow and stay focused. Your boat may be overturned but you will walk on His Water as He holds your hand. Many blessings!

Scripture for the Week

Psalm 30:5

New International Version (NIV)

5 For his anger lasts only a moment,
   but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Direct From God: Keep Your Eyes on HIM!

Hello Saints!
This week has been hectic, crazy and full of praise. Sometimes, it seems as though life is going to swallow you up! Yep! Just swallow you up, in one huge gulp, and smack its lips! But, our Lord is more than able to calm the overwhelming gulps of life and save His children. Over and over, again, this week, I have been redirected by my heart and mind to keep my eyes and work focused on Him--not me--not my insecurities--not my worries--not my needs. And, you know what? When I do this, the floodgate of blessings(love, protection, prosperity, kindness, grace....)opens and anoints my life and all of those around me. My eyes are opened to all that I should be thankful for.  My eyes are opened to Him.  All we have to do, is look to him for the answers and He will provide.

Now, I know that I say this, continuously, but it is important that we be reminded of His goodness and mercy. Our minds can steer us away from His path, so reminders are necessary and an important part of our lives. It is for this reason, that I created my business--to create tiny reminders of His love. We must breathe His Word, surrounding our thoughts, words and actions with His Holy Essence. Now, you won't see me "goin' around town" shouting, "holy this or holy that...." I just try to live and breathe His Word through my actions and love. In fact, I don't have the right words to shout. There are no words that can describe my Lord and the praise I feel.

We all have tasks that we need to fulfill! What a privilege to serve knowingly and with an open heart. The Lord can use us, willingly or unwillingly, but wouldn't you love to serve with open arms, cherishing the walk with Him? I challenge you to open those eyes and keep them focused on the Lord. He will definitely do the rest! Be blessed, saints!

Scripture for the Week
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.

Hello Sunshine!

Good Morning Saints!
Today, I have sunshine on the brain, sunshine in my smile and sunshine in my soul. And, to top it off, I received a Sunshine Award from Sonya at It's a Bee's Life at Tee-iabo Designs, a wonderfully fresh new blog. She also has her own website, on which her designs are featured, at Tee-iabo Designs. You must visit! Her blog and designs are authentic! Thank you, Sonya!

Oh, there is a great deal to be "sunny" about, today: Being clothed in your right mind; being able to rise-up, this morning, in a safe environment; having food to fill your belly; knowing you are loved by your Heavenly Father; and understanding that your eternal home is safe in His keeping, just because He loves you and you accepted Him. I could go on and on, but I think you realize just how thankful we should be. Am I right? Take a few moments to close your eyes and meditate on everyone who has been a positive force in your life---on everything you take for granted. If you do this with all sincerity and an open heart, you will realize that your life is full of blessings. You may not drive the best car, live in the best neighborhood or dine at the best restaurants, but you are embraced by the greatest, strongest and most loving arms, in this world--Your Father's Arms. So, saints, I challenge you to concentrate on what's right and continue to work on what needs to be fixed, knowing that you are privy to and have access to the best Designer and Carpenter in this universe. Be blessed!

Scripture for the Day

Your words were found, and I ate them,
and your words became to me a joy
and the delight of my heart,
for I am called by your name,
, God of hosts.

Tired and Ready for a Change

Good Morning Saints!
It's surely hot and humid, here, in Denver! Can you believe it's humid?! Well, chances are, it will be dry and arid by the afternoon:-)

This weekend, I spoke with a friend who was a little disappointed by life. It wasn't that she was happy or sad, but just tired. You know, we all get tired, sometimes. It's a fact of life! When we are tired, depressed or just "blah," about life, we must remember that it is our duty to run this race. It's okay to be tired and know that tomorrow brings another opportunity to work for the Lord. We may not see our jobs or lives as  meaningful to anyone, but there are so many people who depend on you "to be there." You may have never had a conversation with them or even know them, but they know you. For instance, people I've never spoken to, have come to me after a brief absence to let me know that they missed me. When I was younger, I would think, "That's weird." But, not anymore! I have learned that people depend on you whether you know it or not--they are aware of your presence or the lack of it. Your presence may lend stability to their day-to-day existence, so never think that you are meaningless or invisible. Never become too tired to live and press forward, for there are people that depend on "that face--that smile--that presence."

When you are tired, take some time to just breathe and be alone. If that means hiring a trusted babysitter or leaving your kids with your parents, then do so. But, most importantly, make sure you are taking time to commune with the Lord, for your strength comes from Him and Him, alone. Sure, we get a boost from our families and friends, but it cannot sustain us, like the "real boost"---like that "spiritual fruit," we get from prayer, meditation and just being in the Presence of Jesus. If you have ever asked for the Holy Spirit with an open soul and expectant heart, then you know what the Lord can do! Today, I challenge you to reconnect and re-energize through opening heart, mind and soul the One and Only. Blessings, Saints!
