Maker of Lists~

Good Morning Friends,
Today, I find my heart focused on being with the Lord, just sitting at His feet. Yes, I have my list of "to-do's," but they are becoming more and more secondary to my desire to sit at His feet. I find that sitting at His feet focuses my thoughts and carries me where I need to be throughout the day. What does that do to my list? Smiles~ Well, it becomes more and more obsolete. Oh, I will probably always be a dutiful list-maker, but I know Who is in control of my life and my lists~

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Heart-to-Heart in Prayer

Hello Friends,
It's been a while and I have missed you! I've been working in my art studio and staying steeped in His Word. No matter what this world throws my way, I will not let it steal my joy. The evil one is so pleased when we give-way to sorrow or hopelessness over the constant fighting, name-calling and ethnic-hating that happens in our world. But, I tell you, although tears may stream down my face while watching hideous injustices on our daily news, I will not lose hope in Jesus and the power of His Holy Word. I know, from experience, that He can take the most tragic circumstances and bring about good. So, my message to all of you, no matter your ethnicity, social standing, religious viewpoints, political beliefs or personal views, is this:  Let us stand heart-to-heart in our prayers on a daily basis, that the Lord use each one of us to be a sweet-smelling balm to this weary world. If we unite in prayer, the Lord will hear our prayers. And, prayer is mighty!!!

Keep this Scripture in your heart~

 Psalm 138:2

I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it surpasses your fame.

Grace...What is Your Definition of Grace?

Good Evening Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Today, the definition of "Grace" has been placed upon my heart. As I scoured the Scriptures pertaining to "Grace," the meaning always came down to this: The unmerited favor of God toward man. I have concluded that Grace is a gift from the Lord! We don't deserve His grace, but it gives it to us, anyway. When I stop to think about this, I realize, once again, that God id so good to us. As we grow in our walk with the Lord, we begin to extend grace to others...people that may be unfair or cruel. Honestly, you could not have told me, 10 years ago, that I would have a heart that lends "grace" to my enemies or people who I deemed as enemies. But, as I experience the goodness and grace of God, I realize that I want everyone to feel this "unconditional love."  Yes, grace is love, forgiveness and welcoming...the welcoming of others into beauty and fulfillment of  "unconditional love."

What does grace mean to you? How do you experience His grace, minute by minute and day by day? Share how He has "graced" your life~

2 Corinthians 12:8-9

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.  But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
